English fan translation of Ni no Kuni - Shikkoku no Madoushi aka Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn is finally released as Ni no Kuni: Jet-Black Mage.
Ni no Kuni - Shikkoku no Madoushi was originally released for Nintendo DS only in Japan in 2010 and never got release neither in US or Europe. That being said, the game naturally has never been translated to English. Probably this is the most valid reason that most people assumes Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on PS3 is the first reveal of the Ni No Kuni game.
I'm very proud to mention that I was one of the team member on this fan translation project. I have worked on Magic Master - Wizard's Companion Book as a Photoshop guy and edited, revised plenty of page design elements and overall arrangement. It was great experience for me to work with people around the globe in sake of bringing something we all like in common.
The involvement of Studio Ghibli on this game is a key to the outstanding beautiful visuals and cutscenes and that's what makes the game near and dear to me.
